Are there any classic rules to decorating you love to break?
” I think there are no rules when it comes to event design. Every event is personalized to reflect our clients – their style, personality, and interests.”
What do you think will be the biggest event trend this holiday season?
“What’s old is new again! I’m loving the use of neon lighting right now! I just did an event where we used back lit signs to create a softer version of a neon sign. “
What are your 3 decor must-haves?
“Great lighting, beautiful linen, and floral”
Do you incorporate technology into your decor choices?
“Yes! I think it’s important to stay on top of technology to continue to offer innovative guest experiences.”
With so many new tech innovations, do you think we will be virtually decorating in the next few years?
“We are already using technology to create ambiance and visual effects in events. But I don’t think technology will ever replace the real thing – we want our guests to be completely immersed in the event experience which means being able to touch and feel as well as see it.”
If you were stranded on a desert island and you were throwing a party, what would you do to decorate (let’s assume you brought a carry-on)?
“I would use the tools from my environment – palm leaves, native flowers, a blanket (from my carry on) to sit on, and the beautiful ocean as the backdrop. Sounds heavenly to me!”
